Terms of service

By paying for a conversion you agree to these terms.

Who you’re buying from

DocumentIQ is a service operated from the United Kingdom. Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record: your payment, receipt and any VAT or sales tax are handled by Stripe, and its name appears at checkout and on your card statement alongside “DOCUMENTIQ”.

The service

We convert the document you upload into spreadsheet formats and check whether the extracted transactions reconcile with the balances printed on it. Output is provided as-is for you to review; you remain responsible for anything you submit to a lender, tax authority or anyone else.

Our guarantee

If the extracted transactions do not reconcile with the balances printed on the statement, we tell you and you choose either to keep the files (you pay the price shown) or a full refund (the files are deleted). If you make no choice within 24 hours, we refund you automatically. If the numbers did reconcile but you are unhappy for any reason, you can request a refund from the results page within 14 days and we will refund you in full. This is a refund guarantee; it is the sole remedy and we are not liable for any consequential loss.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the affected conversion. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
