How to import it into Xero

  1. Upload your statement PDF, or photos of each page, and pay $4.99 for up to 10 pages. We check every balance before your files are ready.
  2. Download the OFX file from your results page.
  3. In Xero, go to Accounting › Bank accounts, find the account, then choose Manage account › Import a statement.
  4. Upload the file, check the preview, and reconcile the transactions as usual.

Importing dates your bank feed already covers creates duplicates. Import only the period that’s missing.

How we know every number is right

Your statement already contains the answer. It prints the balance you started with and the balance you ended with. After reading every transaction, we do the sum.

  1. 1Every row, every balance

    Most statements also print a running balance on each line. We check every one of those too, so an error can’t hide between two mistakes that cancel out.

  2. 2One slip breaks the sum

    A missed transaction, a doubled one, a misread digit or a debit read as a credit all make the total come out wrong — so we know, and so do you.

  3. 3If it doesn’t add up

    We re-read the pages where it went wrong. If it still doesn’t reconcile, we show you where, and you choose: keep the files, or a full refund. No choice within 24 hours means a refund.

What it proves: every amount and its direction is right, and nothing is missing or duplicated. What it can’t: the wording of descriptions isn’t part of the sum — they’re copied from the page and shown to you before you download. If your statement doesn’t print its balances, we can’t check it, so you get the same choice.
